The Theatres' Terrace

Something special is in the air at J Sheekey. After a glamorous makeover, the iconic terrace is ready once again to take centre stage, playing host to a bespoke new oyster bar. From March 23^rd, our top shuckers and peerless serving staff will be tempting guests to choose from the new Terrace Oyster Selection, perfectly paired with exquisite Moët & Chandon Vintage 2013 champagne.

Sheekey’s scarlet frontage has long been a beacon to the bon viveurs of London’s theatreland, attracting actors and audiences alike since 1896. From the moment our charismatic doorman welcomes you in, you’re immersed in our sparkling history and heritage. And just as it was when local stallholder Josef Sheekey was first invited to cater to the dinner parties of Lord Salisbury – and in turn given permission to set up his own spot in St Martin’s Court – only the finest fish and freshest seafood are on offer.

Whether it’s for a weekday lunch with friends or a post-performance dinner à deux, you might come for the food but stay for the fun. As the black-and-white portraits of former guests smiling down from the Victorian wood-panelled walls attest, you’ll be in the finest company.

From March 23^rd, the stage is set for spring at Sheekey’s. With live jazz on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings, theatrical serves and mouth-watering spring specials, there has never been a better time to visit.
