Diners on the J.Sheekey Express will embark on a culinary adventure closer to home, taking in the tastes and flavours of the Great British coastline. From Cornish cod, hake, and haddock to Shetland mussels, and Devon monkfish to Lyme Bay lobster, our menu is a showcase for the finest sustainably and locally sourced fish and seafood.

Our gastronomic journey takes us to Plymouth on the southwest coast. The port city from which the explorers Francis Drake and Walter Raleigh both set sail, and which has been distilling its world-famous gin since 1793, is steeped in the salty spirit of adventure.

Enjoy a J.Sheekey platter of English and Irish oysters, washed down with a limited-edition Plymouth gin cocktail made to celebrate each of the stops on our tour, kicking off with the Brighton Royal, a sparkling mix of gin and falernum. Next stop is the Lyme Regis Martini, a briny blend of Plymouth Navy, Lillet Blanc, samphire and olive; then it’s on to the Devon 75, a cheeky concoction of gin, calvados, lemon, and cider. And as the train approaches its final stop, round off your trip in style with a Plymouth Highball.
